In a good, price clipped dust jacket with a large deep chip from the upper edge of the spine area, heavy rubbing to the folds and two long closed tears. 343 pages of text. A first edition copy with all of the issue points for the book and its first issue dust jacket. There are no prior owner's names, dates or book plates.

A small quarto measuring 10 by 7 inches with old glue stains on the fixed end sheets where the jacket flap were once fixed. In a fine, unclipped (no price) dust jacket with corresponding glue stains on the verso ends of the flaps. The story of Michener's efforts to find his lost manuscript for the book Mexico which was written in the 1960's and his search to develop self-confidence. 165 pages of text.

Very good+ in textured yellow cloth covered boards with black text on the spine. An octavo measuring 8 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches with minor crimping of the cloth at the head and heel of the spine. In a very good-, unclipped dust jacket with heavy wear and rubbing to the ends of the spine area, a shallow one inch long chip at the upper edge of the rear panel and rubbing to the fold to the front flap. Co-authored by Gene Wortsman. An investigation and white paper report on the crime and corruption that existed in the small town of Phenix City just outside of Fort Benning, GA. in the 50's. 284 pages. A clean and attractive copy with no prior ownership markings of any kind.
